John 12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

Jesus is the corn of wheat. He was broken in Gethsemane and baked on the fire of Calvary, thus making Him palatable for those who would partake of Him.

John 6:48 I am that bread of life.

The process is the same for every Christian.

The Meal Offering is symbolical of the consecration of gifts and service after first offering self! The reverse produces a religion of works, claiming gifts and works for salvation!

If God has got you, then He has your time, your talents, your gifts, your possessions, etc. If you can’t trust God with your soul (burnt offering), you will never trust Him with your gifts. A life harmony, first to God, then service will be evidence by works following.

Matthew 2:11 Worship, then gifts !
